Just returned from a great 16 day recce in Morocco! Having not been since 1992 we were pleasantly surprised that, although the present King seems to be investing hugely in infrastructure and business, it has remained true to its trade roots and is still a fascinating place to experience.

Being the closest "exotic" location to the UK (only a 3 hour flight) it has such a varied culture, geology and geography from its coastal belt, the Mediterranean to the Atlantic, to the Rif mountains and Desert, fantastic climate and food.

  • Taking a stroll with Omar
  • Tata and his Dates
  • The Romans were here too!
  • Ancient Roman Site of Voloubilis
  • Buying FairTrade from the weavers
  • Powdered Paint
  • Got some great shoes in Rabat
  • Tetouan Souk
